Back Bar
A warm, sophisticated and fun gathering place … the back bar offers a unique character you’ll appreciate and enjoy. The whole room has a very relaxing mood, by creating waves of colour throughout this unique atmosphere becomes very hard to leave - especially with premium beers and cocktails delivered directly to your table.
Beer garden
This
private courtyard offers somewhere to get away from it all – under the
sun or stars you can sit quietly with friends around our large outdoor
timber settings enjoying a chat, a drink and even the odd cigar if you

Smoking Areas
By Law - The beer garden and rear area of the hotel are the only smoking areas within the hotel. Please respect the rights of others by not smoking within any other area of the hotel.
Breathe Easy
The standard respects the rights of all patrons to breath clean air. The air conditioning in the hotel has just been overhauled & to quote the tech’ “they don’t make ‘em like this anymore mate” – yep – It seems our air con’ sucks the bad stuff out of the air quicker and better than anything around.

Courtesy Bus
The standard courtesy bus is a FREE service provided for patrons of the standard hotel.
We expect patrons who utilise this service to start and finish their night at the standard.
Whilst every effort is made to transport everyone home at the end of the evening, logistically this is not always possible - have a back up plan.
The late nighter bus runs Saturdays and TAXIS are available on 133 008.
Free BUS tickets will be available inside the venue after curfew - only patrons exiting the venue with a ticket will be permitted to board the bus.
No food or drink to be consumed on the bus and all passangers to exit QUIETLY late at night.
